History & origin
The Dosini clan is documented as one of the Mpondomise clans descending from King Ngcwina, who had several sons (recorded as Bhukwana, Nxothwe, Zumbe, Ngcinase, Cirha, Ngcitshane and Dosini) that became founders of distinct Mpondomise clans. Dosini is associated with the right-hand house in some accounts of the Mpondomise royal structure. The amaMpondomise are centred in the Eastern Cape around Tsolo and Qumbu.
